Despite the setbacks of the pandemic, the U.S. pet industry soared to $107 billion in 2020 according to the U.S. Pet Market Outlook, 2021-2022 by Packaged Facts. While the pandemic may have reshaped how the world has looked, it has certainly helped to reshape the pet industry and the trends that are on the rise for 2022. The one constant within the upcoming pet trends is pet health and wellness - which tells us that pet parents have become more concerned with their pet’s health and are willing to pay the price tag to get them healthier. The pet supplement market is taking off. Just like humans need their supplements for a variety of reasons, so do some pets; and the market for these supplements has been increasingly rising.
